Park Board Meeting Notes from 10/20

We had several new members voted onto the board. New park board is:

VP - Jeremy Creel

Jimmy Wilson
Linda Jones

One more member will be voted in at the next meeting to take Jeremy Creel's spot. If you have nomination, please let someone know.

A representative from Kelloggs will be at the park Wednesday at 2PM to evaluate what the park needs. If anyone would like to be there, you are more than welcome.

Is this the only information that was turned over to post on here from the last board meeting? I was there and I may be wrong but weren't there a couple of votes done that night other than elections? There was cheer leading stuff voted on, I think something about resurfacing the basketball court and a few other things. Shouldn't all that stuff be on the site?

BTW, what about the other nine meetings. I don't see anything from previous meetings posted on the main site. Can someone let me know.

Maybe this would be a good time to have an "Ask the Board" forum like fowler4 suggested.

This is done by me as a courtesy. If the secretary wants to get on here and post full minutes from the meetings, then I will make sure and pin it to the top.

Please give serious consideration to Shea Layton for the park board. I am still getting to know people in this community and have not had a chance to meet everybody who works their tails off for our park, but when I think of upstanding Hayden folks who love their community and want to see our park be the best it can be, the Laytons always come to mind.

I would have to agree with Shea that the Board Secretary should be posting these minutes or at the very least could send Shea a digital copy to copy and paste. He shouldn't have to worry about taking minutes at these meetings, he is there as a Coach and parent for support. Chef also had a good idea to have archives of past meetings in one location so they are easily accessible, I am sure this is something the board will need to determine. BTW has anyone heard or seen responses from any board members about the "Ask the Board" suggestion? Maybe we could have a list of the board members and their roles somewhere in easy view on the site as well or did I miss that? I says this because I just thought to myself, who is the secretary?
